Istrian Spring Tour Cycling Race
The second stage of this multi-day competition will kick off in Novigrad on Saturday, 15 March. The teams, with more than 170 competitors from all over the world, will gather at the sports hall in Novigrad at around 10 am, where a programme is organised until the start of the race scheduled for 11 am. The cyclists are expected to complete 160 kilometres during the first day of the race which ends in Motovun in the afternoon.

Numerous sports enthusiasts and active holiday lovers will find enough reasons to come to Istria even in the winter months, but the first days of spring bring the new edition of the ultra trail race Istria 100, organized by UTMB.

UCI Istria Gran Fondo 2025
Mark your calendars for 11. – 12. 4. 2025 and register for the international cycling marathon Istria Gran Fondo 2025. The marathon, starting and finishing in Umag, will celebrate its 11th edition this year and will offer an even richer program than last year.

On Sunday, April 27, 2025, a half marathon, a 10.5 km run, and a Fun RUN (5 km) will take place in Umag as part of the Umag Run event. v UmaguWe expect a large number of runners at the starting line near the famous Goran Ivanišević Stadium in Stella Maris.
Sea Star Festival 2025
One of the largest Croatian festivals and the event that traditionally marks the start of the European festival season from May 23rd to 24th, 2025 will take over the magical Stella Maris lagoon in Umag.
